Hello everyone. Hey Ilene I hear ya! I went back to school and think the same thing everyday!!I'm too old for homework. Anyway here is to staying cool in the middle of the heat wave we are having! Enjoy everyone!
Liberty News: We are doing very good so far. We won our third game in a row and we also are in third place. Today, in the midst of this heat wave the Liberty are making history. We are going to be the first team to play Basketball OUTSIDE. Yes that is right, outside at Arthur Ashe Stadium. I have never been there, but that is the place were they play all the tennis games. Needless to say in the middle of a heat wave this should be interesting.

Sorry, I barely know what day it is, let alone if anyone is celebrating anything.
I should be on vacation, but instead I'm putting in a longer day than if
I were working to further my education
and it lasts all week. Have to
go do my homework, now. Hope you enjoy the offerings and don't forget to
let those bards know that you appreciate their efforts. Positive feedback
is a wonderful thing that can elicit and encourage similar actions in the
future (see, I'm actually learning stuff)

The Dark
Side of the Moon by Badsquirrel on The Athenaeum [alt, original]
This story centers around the BDSM lifestyle. It references dungeons, Masters,
dominance, submission, cross-dressers, sex toys, spanking, heterosexuality
and much conversation about such things. While I made an effort not to be
overly graphic in the arts and practices of BDSM, there may be some readers
who will be offended by the subject itself.

Welcome back Ilene - you were missed. Of course I wasn't expecting her back
yet - I forgot you lot over that side of the pond write your dates differently

not 8th July... D'oh!!

Parker Daviss car limped its way into Portsmouth. It was just another
city in a long line of places shed traveled never to settle down. The
major repairs and debt caused by her vehicle, forced her to stay in the city
and find employment with the local police department. Olivia Santos lived
for her work as a police officer, following a family tradition that she was
proud of. The only thing that she would place above her police work was the
love she had for her only living relative-her brother an undercover cop.
When Parker and Olivia meet at a social function, there is an immediate
attraction, which starts them on a road of passionate, unquenchable love.
Their relationship binds them together in ways neither of them understand
until a tragedy threatens the very fabric of their life together and their
love. What happens will reflect on their future like an indelible stain forever.

I'm baaaaack and it wasn't easy. What the *^@^*! Is up with air travel these
days? I can't remember the last time a flight took off on time. Yesterday,
we got to the airport 2 hours early to make sure we would make our flight.
Five hours later, we were still waiting for our plane to land so we would
have one to get on!!! To add insult to injury, there was a water pipe break
so there was no air conditioning
.in D.C
..which was upper 80s
and humid. Oh the humanity, all in one area of the airport trying to get
to Chicago. All flights were delayed due to weather fronts between us and
home. Our only saving grace was deciding to buy day passes to the red carpet
club so we didn't have to wait with the humanity. Since this is now almost
definitely longer than the update, I'll end with a thanks to the gals for
taking over my days. My 4th was spent eating Popeye's chicken and watching
the fireworks from a balcony of the Watergate. Oh, and I got to wish Condi
(as in Rice) a happy Fourth as she and her group were walking out of the
Watergate as I was entering!!!!!

Vicious bounty hunters and a jealous husband threaten to destroy the only
real love two women have ever known. It is 1842 Cian McGregor travels from
Scotland to the new world, desperate to escape the fate that awaits her if
she's caught by Marshall Kieve and his fellow bounty hunters. Cian's journey
carries her all the way into the wilds of Louisiana where she stumbles upon
the last thing she expected, love. After years in an arranged and loveless
marriage, Gwen is now pregnant and more unhappy than ever. She dreams of
finding a secret lover among the nature spirits her Coushatta Indian mother
often told her about, and escaping her provincial life. Shamed by these
fantasies, Gwen keeps them locked away, secret from everyone, even her beloved
sister Kitt until one day the mournful cry of a wounded Scottish wildcat
pulls at Gwen's sympathies. When Cian reveals herself to be a handsome shape
shifter, Gwen's fantasy becomes real and brings consequences which threaten
to alter everything both women have ever known.
