What d'you know - I got my days right today. D'oh. Sorry about yesterday

Is he building a boat?? It's almost July for pete's sake it's supposed to be
warm and sunny, not cold, wet and tending to floods. I refuse to watch
Wimbledon (when it isn't delayed by rain that is) with the heating on!!

Hi folks. Hi boss. Don't worry - I'm fine. I was quiet because there
weren't many updates last weekend and it seemed daft to chat and have the
chat run three times the length of the update *g* - which of course is
exactly what I'm doing this week. We have torrential rain - coming down in
stair-rods it is - and it's 12c - twelve!! Did somebody forget to tell the
weather gods that it was summer?? OK - on with the update - such as it is.

- Hi all. It's Friday so it is I, once again. At least, this week. Next week
at this time I'll be heading for Philadelphia for the National Education
Association Representative Assembly. The teacher's union always has its
annual meeting the week of July 4th. I'm told we are the largest democratic
organization in the nation. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing some
of the sites from our nation's beginnings when I'm not "on the
job" so to speak. If you're not traveling, or in school like Heartbrkn,
perhaps you'd like to do some reading. Here's the latest.
And, you never know. Once I'm back, and finished packing for the move to
the new house, I just may do the updates twice a week. As Heartbrkn said, we
will see!

- Well here we are the first day of summer! Zero has been quite lately I
hope she is ok! I have been really overwhelmed with school. Who knew it took
up so much time. Ilene offered to help me out. I do get a two week break
from school next week, thank the gods! I also get my grades as well. So we
will see.

Guess what?? We have reached our 100 month here on the UFFD!! WOW thats

I've been having terrible laptop problems lately - the damn' thing has
worked for about 20 minutes in the last 2 weeks. If I'm really lucky it'll
hold out long enough to update tonight. Last night I recommended a short
story. Now I'm not sure I'm really supposed to do that. I probably should be
more impartial - but hell - I'm nothing if not opinionated!! We list a vast
number of amazing stories and talented bards here, Surely I'm allowed some
favourites?? *g*. So tonight I'm doing it again. There's a cracking new
story from an incredible writer. Andi M. Definitely top of my favourites
list. Talented doesn't begin to cover it. Well written, certainly. And every
single one of this author's stories have kept me reading for the story - not
just to find out what happens but to appreciate the way it happens and the
craft that went into making it happen. It so nice to read such a well
written tale. So yep - I'm recommending AndiM's stories.
