Xenaverse Bard TJ Vertigo needs your prayers. She's just returned home after major surgery for cancer. If you would like to give more material help some of the Merwolf Pups have a fund running.
Every year the DC Wolfpack participates in the Mid-Atlantic Women's Motorcycle Rally. This weekend brings together lady riders, young and old, gay, straight and everything in between, for one purpose alone...to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund For The Cure. Last year, the fund saw an additional $17,000 added by the women of this rally, $4090 of it from the DC Wolfpack alone, the largest club donation for the 2nd year in a row. This year, the DC Wolfpack riders are dedicating our weekend/ride/fundraising to TJ Vertigo... A great author, dedicated pup and a hell of a nice person. But we cannot raise the money without help. We have until June 16th to raise our money to bring to the rally. So far we only have about $800, a far cry less than last year's $4090. The Merwolf Pack has always been supportive of our fundraising efforts for this cause, so we're asking you again...if everyone in the Merwolf Pack donated just $1.00 each, that would give us over $4000. Of course, if you want to give more that's wonderful, but we're not asking for more than you can afford to give. No person's donation is less important than another's. So, we have until June 16th. You can mail cash or checks (please make checks out to either myself-Dawn McDermott, or MAWMR, Inc). Let's blow MAWMR and Komen away this year! Let's show TJ how much we care about our own! Let's make sure less and less people (yes, people-men can get this deadly disease too), die from this dreaded disease! Let's help more and more people survive!
