Hi there - Zero standing in for Ilene who's cruising round Antarctica at the moment. Are we Jealous?? Too flamin' right we are!! Right - quick word about tonight's update, which is a huge one (and made my shoulder hurt - sympathy please!! *g*) . There are some updates from sites we don't usually cover - but I'm making an exception because there are some stories from important Xenaverse Bards to be found. The most important one is the very first link in the updates. One of the great Xenaverse bards is writing again. This is a new story by one of the very early bards - Bat Morda. If you've never read her Mel and Janice stories you've missed a treat. The other site is an archive which lists a great many fandoms but it does have a few Xena tales, and they've just added the thoughtful and complex Mel/Janice stories by another of the early Xena bards Vivian Darkbloom. Of course, for your continued reading pleasure there's the usual Academy update too. Have you voted in their Solstice Challenge yet?? OK - enough from me - on with the show.

Weeee... Just a bit tipsy this evening. Had a WONDERFUL christmas.I hope everyone else did as well. Amongst all the great stuff I got, the best gift from my g.f is two season tickets to the Liberty. Yes I am already a season ticket holder but these are COURT seats. Yep 4 rows off the floor!!!!!!!! OMG you have no idea the expression on my face. I am sooo excited!!!

Well, here we are - St Stephen's Day - "The Feast of Stephen" - also known over here as Boxing Day (nothing to do with prize fighting!!) Did you all have a good Christmas?? Eat too much?? So all the gifts are wrapped and decorated and under the tree. yes I am the type that puts all the bows and ribbons on all the gifts. Sappy huh? Well Ilene is off on vacation, good for her. Zero thanks for not putting the jinx on me. BTW went to see the tree today for the first time. it was beautiful. You dont realize how much you take for granted in your own city. Well my baby came down with a stomach virus so I need to get on with the update and take care of her, without getting myself sick.

Hello everyone. Can you believe it's almost christmas time? In fact Friday night is the first night of Hanukah. But the weather outside is not frightful in fact its so mild I don't know what to wear anymore. Oh and as far as me being in love. Well......... Only 30 more days until another year is gone. It seems the more time that passes, the more quickly it goes. Does that make any sense? For example it seems like only yesterday that I (yeah, Ilene here) was last chatting with you all. Oh, and you all can listen to Zero as much as you want and don't worry about our fearless leader!!! As for you, Zero, hang in there!! If your recovery goes a quick as your wit, you're well on the way to doing things with both hands.
