Well everyone here we are on the last day of the month. I will be away for my birthday,(which is sunday) from thursday till Monday. Please treat Zero and Ilene with care. They are watching the fort for me while I am drinking and sunning it up with my amazing girl friend. I sooo can't wait!!!

  Hi folks - blimey are we having some weather here in the UK. Gale force winds like you wouldn't believe. We lost our garden fence a couple of days ago. I've sort of repaired it so the garden is safe to let the dogs out but a proper repair will have to wait until I can use both arms. I asked myself the question: what if Xena became a conqueror for all the right reasons? Or so she thinks. And the Xena con should just about be winding down - from the reports it looks to have been great - I thought when I saw the guest list that it was going to be one of the best for many years. I'm so bloody envious of those who got to go, you would not believe it!! Oh well - let's hope ROC does next year. The weather is crazy at the moment it was 15c today - in January.   Hi all. Well, after looking and planning for seven years, I survived a total of 4 days crossing the rough waters of the Drake Passage (2 going and 2 coming), climbing a glacier and sliding back down its side (because I wasn't going to walk back down), and about 24 hours in airports and airplanes to get back home. While in and around Antarctica I saw seals, whales, penguins, other flying birds, and scenery that took my breath away! I even learned something in lectures presented by the "expedition team" while on the ship. This is my first opportunity to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2007. It's also my first opportunity to give you an update in 2007, so here it is.
